If you want good quality photographs and photographs that will remain good quality for many years to come, genuine Canon Ink Cartridges should be purchased. I have tried all the cheaper cartridges available over the years and have found there is no substitute for the genuine article. Cheap inks cartridges are ok for rough work but to use cheap cartridges for quality photographic prints is false economy. Don't be tempted by cheap cartridges if you want long lasting colour prints. P.S. I am a genuine customer and have no connection with Canon or any other manufacturer. This is purely my advice based on many years of printing photographs on Canon printers of various types.
