Summary: Logitech webcam
Comment: This camera is OK but has very blurry graphics and not very detailed picture. For example, my son uses it sometimes for MSN Messenger and people can only just make out outlines of his face, mouth eyes and no detail can be shown. It is worth spending about £40 on a more decnt model which is very clear and of much better quality. Overall, this isn't a very good webcam and is quite dissapointing, don't waste your money on this one!!

Comment: tried to download software several times without success. Looked at customer reviews and found I had to go to Logitech Website to download software (which I did) and had no problems further on!! Nowhere in the booklet does it mention that you have to do this and as for the CD, well, its in the bin where it belongs!!

Comment: Unlike some others, I didn't have any delivery problems, the webcam arrived 3 business days later - and I live on the Isle of Man where deliveries tend to take a little longer.Other reviewers have already indicated the installation problems that you can have if you use the accompanying CD rather than downloading the latest software/drivers from the logitech website. Be warned that this is a 32Mb download!
Using the downloaded software the camera was quickly found and installed by windows XP.
The picture quality was a disappointment, not as good as a modern phone. Colours are not great, and the video even at lower resolutions was a little jerky. Over all rating 3 stars, so if you need a little more quality then you will have to spend a few more pounds.

Comment: This webcam is still shipping with a CD that doesn't work (8.4.1 for Windows), but go to www.logitech.com and download the drivers, etc (currently 8.4.8) and everything behaves itself. Just remember to install the software before you connect the camera.Other than that, configuration is simple, the picture quality is good, the microphone works and the cable is a sensible length.
Realistically I'm not sure why anyone would want to buy anything other than this.

Comment: The software is a nightmare. I had to reinstall 3 times to make it work as I was unaware that I had to go to Logitech website to download the required software which was not mentioned anywhere. What is the use of sending the software CD then? Picture quality good on Skype only, very bad on Yahoo or MSN Messenger.
