Summary: Managed to fit my adapters...
Comment: I was getting so irritated by not being able to fit all my devices onto an extension lead because of power adapters. I needed to free up a socket for a home plug (and wow it's much faster now), and place everything else through one surge protector. Now I know some people seems to still have trouble fitting their adapters into this, but all I can say is they must be massive! I've got a couple of quite bulky ones (about 9cm long and 6cm wide) and they both fit - but only on the swivel sockets
Pros:
- The two swivel sockets should fit most adapters (if your adapter has a lot of over-hang top and bottom it might not fit)
- Protects cable and phone lines
- Solidly made
- Power switch useful (especially for the occasional re-boot of a router)
Cons:
- Massive adapters may not fit (if they have more than 1cm of overhang at the top and bottom)
- Only fits two adapters as most will not fit in other sockets
All in all this is the best one I've found of it's kind. NB - although you can probably fit a HomePlug on one of these it is not advisable. HomePlugs are best when plugged directly into a socket.

Summary: Good warranty same poor design
Comment: I'll start this out by saying this is a very good product. It's robust, a decent long lead and has a great warranty to insure your products.
My problem with it is there's been not much thinking outside the box. Like almost all power strips it doesn't give enough room for the big bulky ac adpaters used commonly today. As a result I'm only able to fit 7 plugs in and that's with only 1 adapter. They've tried to accomodate for that with the swivel on some of the sockets but it simply doesn't work, at least not with the adapter I have. A little more space between the sockets would have accomplished more.
Also I bought this for the data sockets' protection but they're pretty redundant and i don't use them.
The fact is this does the job and I like it but I'm annoyed that a lot of the featueres I bought it for are pretty much useless.

Comment: Belkin Surgemaster sockets come with a lifetime guarantee, with a no quibble policy.
My old 8 way Surgemaster plug failed with no damage to connected equipment, thankfully, the protection light was not lit, this socket was getting on for 7-8 years old and at first I did not realise that Belkin offered this lifetime warranty until looking around on the internet, I contacted Belkin customer care and they told me to package the old Surgemaster and post it to them, within a week I had a shiny new Surgemaster completely free of charge!!
I got this other Surgemaster to protect my A/V equipment that was already protected by a 'cheapo' surge socket that I no longer trusted as we seem to suffer from regular surges and spikes in the electricity supply.
The Surgemaster comes with a built in switch the isolates ALL the sockets on the unit, there's a power on LED and also the all important protected LED, if this fails then the Surgemaster is no longer protecting your equipment, and a short call to Belkin will ensure you get a FREE replacement, no matter how many times the device fails!! How many other manufactures offer this?? Two of the sockets on the Surgemaster rotate so that awkward adaptors that cover two sockets can be rotated so you don't lose a socket. The Surgemaster also has two phone sockets, one for phone and the other for a modem.
If the Belkin should fail and connected equipment is damaged then Belkin will cover upto £30,000 of equipment.
Excellent product that is back by a very good guarantee policy, if only all manufactures did this.

Having suffered many lightning strikes and the loss of several computers, the Belkin Surgemaster has been worth its weight in computers! Would definitely recommend this product.
