Summary: Great Price!
Comment: This is a fantastic price for such a lot of memory on an SD card - and a high speed one at that!

I would defy anyone to find 512MB at a better price with Amazon's quality of service.

Definitely worth it if you're in the market for a new SD card!

Summary: Quality product
Comment: I have two of these 512MB cards and they work great in my Nikon Coolpix 5200 Digital camera. I have been using them for about a year now and have encountered no problems at all, the pictures store quickly once taken allowing you to shoot another one pretty much straight away and they transfer to my PC with no data loss.

Summary: Disappointing loss of data
Comment: I bought two Bytestor Hi-Speed cards, a 512MB and a 256MB.
I used the 512MB on holiday, and found that a handful of the photos became corrupt. As I'm new to digital photography I assumed it might be normal for data to become corrupted occasionally.
I then used the chip a few months later on a two week trip to Japan and was very disappointed with it - I would estimate that around a quarter of my pictures became corrupted, either immediately after I took them (which at least meant I could take another shot) or sometime later (which meant the picture was irretrievably lost). Maybe I've just been unlucky, as I've not had such problems with the 256MB chip (although even that chip has corrupted a few photos), but I certainly wouldn't buy Bytestor again as holiday photos are too precious to risk.

Summary: Excellent quality but TOO expensive
Comment: I purchased 2 of these. I have never had a problem with them, however campared with their competitors I feel that they are significantly overpriced and is not merited in any potential quality difference. When I purchased them there was no price difference.
Recommendation: Purchase the cheaper version from Viking or SanDisk or whoever.
