Ours printed 50 pages before refusing to print any more as it was out of black. I contacted Epson who said the cartridge was fine but we needed a firmware upgrade. I took a day off on holiday and an engineer called and told us we had a bad cartridge and told Epson they should replace it but they refused (rather rudely). They said the engineer (their engineer, that they sent) was wrong and the firmware upgrade would fix it. He came back a week later, did the firmware upgrade but oddly, this did not fill our faulty toner cartridge. He wrote again on his report that the black cartridge was faulty and they should replace it but so far nothing has happened. Ten days after buying the printer we have managed to print 67 pages, taken two days off work waiting for engineers, made numerous phonecalls (mostly unreturned) and we are still having to make trips to Prontaprint for any printing we want. Don't go near Epson printers with a bargepole.
