Outstanding Performance The 16Channel Bluetooth GPS receiver is capable of tracking 16 satellites simultaneously. That is 33% more satellites than competitors vs. a 12 channel receiver. Do be fooled into buying a more expensive unit, there are only around 24 satellites in orbit and we have never seen more than 13 above the uk at any one time, so this makes the BT77 the uk and possibily the worlds best selling unit This translates into superior sensitivity (-147 dBm ) and excellent accuracy (7 meters, horizontal). Longest Battery Life The 16-Channel Bluetooth GPS receiver offers longer battery life than competition. It will operate up to 30 hours even at full speed with the built-in 850mAh user replaceable battery. That is more than 200% of battery life (vs. competition's 8 hours). Some other Bluetooth GPS receiver use trickle mode' to prolong battery life but at the same time reduces the performance. On the other hand, this 16-Channel Bluetooth GPS offers excellent battery life without compromising on the performance.
