Summary: BAD SUPPORT FROM CANON
Comment: I bought this printer and set up on network, now I forgot the user password, when I approached canon, they told me to take that to a service centre- so they can charge and make some money. What an obsurd suggestion. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER

Comment: This device was delivered with a broken duplexer. 2 print engineers and 4 weeks later it was returned. Canon appear to ship items untested. All it takes to test it is to press the button on the panel which prompts it to print a test page, but obviously even that was not tested before it was shipped. I now have the spare cartridge I ordered at the same time, but nothing to put it in, so I will have to try again, I suppose. Quality control is obviously not Canon's strong point. I hope you have more luck.

Summary: Fantastic device
Comment: This is barely any bigger than the very small Brother HPL2500 laser printer scanner I had used for years but that was not a flatbed scanner.
Very easy to set up. Canon software has a very simple interface but has all the functionality that my old HP Scanjet had with PrecisionScan Pro.
The software and scanner together produce fantastic quality, searchable PDFs with a small file size.
If you want a machine that does it all with a very small footprint, this is a great choice.
All I need now is for it to prove as reliable as my old Brother/HP combo.
Had to but elsewhere in the end as Amazon was not the keenest price.
