I downloaded the latest drivers and software from the web site and followed the instructions; the only exception was entering the MAC address of the printer in to my router before I installed it. It connected the first time, it is quiet and quick the copy function is also quick. Having had Lexmark printers in the past I hope this will be as reliable as them as I am fed up of having to change printers annually. Customer Rating: Summary: As easy as it gets! Comment: Received it today and works like a dream, quite easy to setup with Lexmark's step by step install. Had a slight issue when I connected it to my PC for the first time using the USB cable so I could configure the wireless connection. It was failing to detect the printer and was giving me some error saying that there is a problem with the device! Tried one of the USB ports on the back of the PC and it worked fine. A bit strange as I use the first USB port I tried all the time and never gave me any problems. Wonder if this advice could of helped some of the people that had problems detecting their printer! Anyway quite happy with it and an absolute bargain at under 60 quid. Comment: i have never written a review before but i couldnt possibly believe how rubbish this was!! at first when bought this printer brand new it worked for a few days fine and i was quite happy with it... 2 months later and its in the bin! problems after problems, ive had enough of hearing the words... "problem comunicating with the printer"! i tryed for hours every time it wouldnt work, (which was every week) to get technical help and re-installing the printer and now ive finally had enough. its in the bin and im looking for a new one, i won't be buying lexmark again! and my advice to you... don't waste your time and money on this because it will be in the bin in a week or two!
