Summary: Good, simple, workman-like product
Comment: We bought this printer for my 85 year old father-in-law who does minimum printing, so we wanted something cheap, basic and easy to operate just to print off text documents. And it does this job very well. Very easy to set up, simple instructions and produces good copies. As usual with all printers these days, the replacement ink is often the most expensive item, but we have come to live with this fact! So if you want a basic, workman-like product without all the trimmings of printers far more expensive, you won't go wrong with this one.

Comment: I am very happy with performance of this printer which is at budget end of pricing and does not have complicated operation. It is not any more noisy than my previous Canon model and it printed out some photos very clearly. The cost of cartridges could be a problem for high usage so I tried a substitute black one but the printer does not recognise the substitute installation and indicated empty after a very short time .I have reverted to Canon cartridges and now do not print anything which is not completely necessary.

Summary: Excellent replacement for my old i350
Comment: Bought as a replacement for my old Canon i350. Just as simple to use but more stylish, faster and quieter. For the price the print quality is good. I also liked the software, as well as the photo editing you can create calenders and albums. Only had it a few months so cannot comment on reliability but so far no problems.

Summary: Cheap, fast,and simple.
Comment: That's all it is really - cheap, fast and simple. I am something of a technophobe as regards computers but found no problem setting up the Cannon PIXMA iP2600. When you switch it on it takes some time to get going but, once started, it is a great deal faster than the Epson stylus I used to have (which I had to get rid of due to incompatability with Visa) and it does a good job. So, no complaints at all - entirely satisfactory and good value for money.

Summary: loose cable connection
Comment: Although we are satisfied with the printing, the cable connection is poor. It is far too loose. It appeared that it was defective but when we complained it was defective and asked for a replacement printer, the replacement was just as defective.
