Summary: Very good for the money
Comment: This is a very good, easy to use all in one. Even my completely computer illiterate mother in law can use all of its functions easily. However there are a few niggles.

1. I would like to be able to print documents straight off a usb stick but the printer only works with pictbridge cameras, I could just as easily use an SD card but the printer will only print pictures rather than .pdf or .doc documents. Not that bad a niggle but it would be nice.

2. I cannot get this to work with my ubuntu linux laptop, no matter how hard I try. DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU INTEND TO USE IT WITH LINUX. If you are using this with mac or windows then it works brilliantly.

Summary: Canon get an amen?
Comment: After years of going with the same HP inkjet printer I decided to get a new wireless printer to go with my wireless laptop and mouse. At the time, about a year ago, Canon were offering these printers for £[] with a £[] cashback so at £[] new this was a fine buy. Since that year the printer hasn't broken down once. It's easy to set up wirelessly and I had it going in about 20 minutes of opening the box. I bought it also for print quality. I print a lot of photos on glossy photo paper and wanted a printer to be able to do that well. This one has printed scores of pictures for me flawlessly, I have no complaints. It prints documents perfectly, and the photocopy function is brilliant, saving me from using the dodgy newsagents' photocopier. It's much larger than my old printer but looks aesthetically pleasing. Everything slots together nicely and works fine. I use USB sticks and memory cards sometimes so you don't need the computer on to use the printer, it works independently of that. If you do a lot of photo printing though you do burn through the inks very quickly and they are kind of expensive. I think if there is a flaw with the printer it is that the ink capacity for such a large printer is quite small. Besides that I couldn't be happier with such an excellent printer. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a competent and easy to use printer.

Comment: This is a fantastic product which set up straight-forwardly and has 'helped' three students and a teaching mum to get through their studies without a hitch...however, you've got to be organised enough to have pre-ordered your replacement ink cartridges in time. Does the ink last?? I guess so and if the price of original cart's is an issue go to the 'discounters'....I've found 'Just Ink And Paper' totally marvellous.

Comment: The printer is neat. Easy to install and works well.
We came to replace cartridges and it was very hard to find replacements. That was disappointing. So, when I found it I bought 2 sets and the price, as you would think, was the most expensive cartridges in the shops.
I would recommend you to buy something else.
