Comment: Nice. I got this, because at my boarding school the printers never work. This is really good for occasional use, and is easy to store in holidays.

Really good price for what it is, I strongly recommend it.

Comment: I cannot belive that this printer has had so many good reviews! Maybe I have just been unlucky and recieved a faulty one, but it has caused me NOTHING but trouble!
At first (3 months or so) it worked quite well, just a few paper jams here and there - but over the last few months it has mostly just refused to work (and I use it very little as it is and for nothing other than documents) It constantly tells me that there is no paper in it - but there is, and it is loaded quite correctly! other times I am informed that the paper is jammed when it hasn't even been taken in to the machine byt is just on the tray. And more often than not it chews and tears the paper to ribbens. I had just 1 hour ago had the back off to fix it - again, and after getting it going again it managed to print off a grand total of 3 pages before it cocked up again. It is now going in the bin and I will never by another HP again!

Summary: Flimsy and unreliable
Comment: Printer is of poor build quality and all the other reviews about cost of cartridges are correct. Mine has died! Over the last few weeks it has been hard to get it to print anything as the cartridge would shoot from one side of the printer to the other in an apparent attempt to smash itself to bits. Which it now finally seems to have managed! I bought this to attach locally to a PC but have a Canon IP4300 elsewhere in the house on my network - the IP4300 is vastly superior (and should be as it cost twice as much) and the printing software with it is similarly superior. In short avoid this printer unless you are a very occassional user.
