Comment: I bought this product having seen a similar printer owned by a friend. I have to admit I did let someone else who knew what they were doing install it, and the process went smoothly. I love the design of the printer and the print quality and ease of use seem excellent. It's early days but so far I am extremely pleased with my purchase.

Comment: I purchased this all in one printer a month ago now and have used it every day - I found it easy to install on my wireless network print quality is great and photo's printed on ink jet paper are great - i have been using inkjet printers for years now and i know that if you want great results buy inkjet paper it is only a few pence more per pack than the cheap laser copy paper but you get really great results.

Summary: Brother Wireless Printer
Comment: After much research i decided to purchase the Brother MFC 490CW.
The primary reason to purchase was that it was probably the best value MFC that had fax facility.
I had read a number of reviews regarding problems people were having setting it up wirelessly. I have to say i had no problems. The instructions were pretty simple to follow. I configured the printer to my wireless router, loaded the software on my laptop running Vista and it all works fine.
I find it prints documents pretty quickly although i don't tend to print photographs as it gets too pricey buying paper and ink. Asda is much cheaper!
The only problem i have is that it looks like the fax needs to be wired so needs to be near the phone socket. I hadn't planned on that.

Comment: The product arrived earlier than the estimation delivery day!!The utilities though written for this product concerning the printing speed are only true when you select fast (the lowest printing quality). As for the other fuctions I have not yet tested it!!
