Comment: This is a very good product and I am well pleased with it but for the scanner. After I have scanned a document, I cannot find it! I would like to scan and then put it on the clipboard so that I can retrieve it.

Summary: Please - more printed instructions!
Comment: I received the printer a few days ago To date I've done little more than try setting it up, plus a few items of copying. All seems well, BUT - I do wish that the manufacturers would give buyers PRINTED instructions which would be easily referred to. As it is I find myself having to dodge back & forth over the disk which is a frustrating exercise indeed! But I'll keep on keeping on - I have to admit to not being a computer or electronis fundi, so that brighter types may not have the same problem!
Incidentally, I live in a tiny flat so that I've no room to keep my confuser & printer awake permanently, which doesn't help.

USB printing and scanning is very good.

Dislikes:

Wireless connection varies from poor to non-existent.

Unlike other reviewers I found the setup to be stright forward even for the wireless connection. Having said that the wireless connection is very poor as most of the time my laptops will not connect. If the printer is not used for a few minutes it goes into a power saving standby which seems to turn off the wireless. Any attempt to print wirelessly after this fails.

Note this device also works with Linux but the wireless problems are the same as Windows.

Comment: Having read the really negative posts about difficulty with wireless setup I thought I'd have a bit of a play with this, being a bit of a techie :)

What I did find was that I had alot of the issues mentioned here when either the laptop or the printer was not in the same room as the router. This may just be my thick walls, but once I had the printer and my laptop setup in the same room as the router setup ran faultlessly and I was able to position the printer in situ under the stairs and can now happily print to it from anywhere in the house.

So my advise is to carry out the install with the printer and pc/laptop close to the router.

Comment: As other reviewers have already pointed out, it's horrible/near to impossible to set up for wireless access and it only works, if at all, when using the supplied software.
