Comment: I really cannot recommend this 3 in 1 printer too highly. Its a pocket miracle.
1. Easy to set up
2. Very small footprint.
3. Ink lasts forever (350 sheets on initial cartridges and still printing!)
4.Quiet in operation (after initial transport thunk)
5. Very cheap for a 3-in-1 £39.00!
6. Good print quality on even lowest setting
It has a tiny footprint as it loads and dispenses paper from the front only . It is half the size of my previous Epsom DX4400!
Its pretty quiet after the initial clunk of the transport which can make you jump a little.'
I found it a little tricky to set up initilly as I made an error following the instructions on the installation CD (easily done) The second time all went smoothly. If ,like me you have a Netgear DG834G v5 modem router its a doddle really .I then set the printer up on 3x laptops and another PC which took less than 10 minutes each
Its very quick to print wirelessly taking about 5 seconds to commence printing.
After 2 months use I'm still in love with this little printer and cannot believe the cartridges still haven't run out yet.!
Best price I have found for Extended size original replacement cartridges is £15.00 each on Amazon

Comment: The CD wouldn't load the software so we had to download from the HP website. The Wireless set up was struggle because we didn't get all the files we needed in the download. We were up and running eventually for about 3 months and the machine malfunctioned.
It is currently stuck on scan on the LCD and won't change. We can't use the wireless because that too is stuck. We can't copy or scan from the computer because it says the printer is busy and we can scan from the printer because the buttons don't respond.
We are using it as an ordinary printer as no other function will work on it. We'll use up the large ink cartridges we purchased and take it to the tip. A total waste of money!
To scan documents and pictures etc. we use our old faithful all in one that we bought about 7 years ago. So glad I didn't bin that printer.

Comment: Received my HP printer very quickly. Messed the setting up, first attempt,a little intimidated, so left it for a couple of days. Second try went without problem. Good printer, cartridges are cheaper than my old Dell

Comment: The quality and value of this product is great. My only concern is that I will have to constantly buy ink for it! I'm also not over the moon about the fact I have to attach my usb to my pc every time I want to scan... Apart from that, no problems.

Summary: Good until you start buying cartridges!
Comment: It's a shame that such an excellent printer has such small capacity cartridges. The cost to replace is close to the cost of the printer so might as well sling it! Refills are not recognised as full and so numerous error messages are received. There is something wrong with this strategy in these days of recycling and saving energy.
